Back in March eleven teams got together at the Luxembourg City Film Festival to each write, shoot & edit a short film in just 48 hours. On the first evening we announced a theme, one line of dialogue and a prop, which each had to feature in every film, then all of the teams drew a different Genre - and off they went!

True to this year's theme - “BAD TIMING” - the screening of the produced films and subsequent award ceremony was supposed to take place four days later, on Thursday March 12th, the very day the state of emergency was announced and the entire 2020 film festival was aborted. Following the announcement we promised that the screening was not annulled, only postponed. Little did we know that after 48 hours of filmmaking it would take another 4.632 hours of waiting… but now the time has finally come!

Join us on Thursday, September 17th at 19h30 at the Ciné Utopia for a screening of all 11 shorts, followed by the presentation of a jury and an audience award!

Entrance is free, but due to the COVID safety restrictions reservation is mandatory. We’re limited to 67 seats, so don’t wait too long!

For those unable to participate in person, all films will be made available on this site on the evening of the event and an online voting system set up for the selection of the Audience Award.
